Counselling

Counselling

Training to become a counsellor is a transformative journey focussed on honing empathetic listening, interpersonal communication and therapeutic skills. Aspiring counsellors learn various counselling theories, ethical guidelines, and practical techniques to support individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges. This training equips them to provide invaluable mental health support and guidance in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner.

Our courses come highly recommended for those wishing develop both personally and professionally. The Level 2 and 3 courses are validated by SEG (Skills Education Group), whilst our Higher Education courses are validated by Middlesex University. Our Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling Based on Transactional Analysis is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

We also offer a range of CPD courses throughout the year, focusing on topics such as Couples Therapy, the benefits of nature, eating disorders and EMDR.

If you have had some experience of life and have a desire to enable others to help themselves to lead a more fully functioning life, counselling could be the career for you.
