Philosophy & Mythology
Studying Philosophy is a wonderful opportunity to delve into the minds of the greatest thinkers. With the rise of AI, a new and international discussion around identity and the worldwide threat of climate change, the ‘big ideas’ of philosophy have never been more important or relevant to our lives. Our Philosophy courses are for curious, open-minded learners wanting to explore the world's oldest, and newest, questions.
We offer Philosophy continuation courses for learners who have studied our Introduction to Philosophy/term 1 course, however, anyone is welcome to join these classes. Please do get in touch if you would like to speak to the tutor regarding joining an appropriate class.
Our ‘Legends & Lore’ course takes learners on a journey through the world's most captivating myths and legends. Participants will read, discuss, compare and analyse various myths, examining how these ancient stories have shaped societies throughout history.
