Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Being a student at Peter Symonds means being part of an inclusive, diverse and welcoming community. We value your individuality and encourage all students to play an active role in shaping the College. Your unique voice helps to reflect the needs and priorities of the student body. Through a team of dedicated EDI Ambassadors, students and staff work together to celebrate, recognise and represent the diversity of our College community. Our ambassadors help to organise events, run training sessions and coordinate the College’s EDI policy.

Get Involved

There are many ways in which you can actively help drive forward equality, diversity and inclusion at Peter Symonds. You can run for the EDI officer in the Student Union, which provides a bridge between students and the Senior Management Team to discuss relevant issues.

You can put yourself forward as an EDI Tutor Representative and join in with our student forums throughout the college year. You could join one of our connect enrichments or put your name forward to volunteer at one of our EDI events.
