History of Art

History of Art

We are delighted to introduce our very first History of Art course, created in response to the many requests from our students. History of Art explores how painting, sculpture, architecture and other visual forms reflect the cultures, ideas and events of their time. It is perfect for anyone who enjoys visiting galleries, is curious about the stories behind great artworks, or wants to deepen their understanding of visual culture.

Studying History of Art develops critical thinking, visual analysis skills and a richer appreciation of creativity across centuries. Our first short course focuses on Claude Monet, one of the pioneers of Impressionism, offering an accessible introduction through the life and work of this remarkable artist. Further courses will follow, allowing students to explore new artists, movements and themes in greater depth, shaped by student interest and demand.
