This Gentle Hatha Yoga class blends mindful movement, breath awareness, and relaxation techniques to support both physical and mental well-being. This class is designed to be accessible to individuals of varying abilities, including those new to yoga, with a focus on nurturing strength, enhancing flexibility, and promoting deep relaxation.
What Will I Study?
The first hour of the class is dedicated to a series of foundational yoga poses that gently engage and strengthen major muscle groups while improving joint mobility. Each movement is slow and deliberate, allowing participants to build endurance while working at their own pace. Throughout each session, participants are guided to connect their breath to their movements. This mindful approach helps cultivate a sense of presence and tranquility, which can aid in stress relief and mental focus.
The final segment of the class shifts to a calming and restorative phase. Gentle stretches and relaxation poses are paired with guided meditation, allowing participants to unwind fully and experience deep relaxation. This portion of the class is perfect for releasing tension and fostering a peaceful state of mind.
