Join us for a day of festive crafting as we explore the wonderful world of needle felting. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the art of sculpting wool fibres with a barbed needle to create beautiful festive decorations and ornaments. Whether you are a complete beginner, or an experienced crafter, this workshop is sure to spark your creativity and fill your home with Christmas cheer!
You will be given an introduction to needle felting, including wool roving, felting needles and foam pads. You will explore a variety of festive designs and ideas for felting, from traditional holiday motifs to whimsical characters, such as snowmen and reindeer.
Your tutor will demonstrate basic needle felting techniques, including shaping, sculpting and attaching wool fibres. You will also learn how to add embellishments to add texture and bring your creations to life.
None - this course is suitable for beginners, as well as those with some experience who would like to create their own festive decorations.
Most materials are included in the course fee. You may wish to bring your own selection of wool roving so that you can create items in colours of your own choosing. If you have any special embellishments or decorations you would like to incorporate into your creation, please do bring them along!
