Overview

This course is for adults who have studied French to an advanced level, know a lot of theory but want to consolidate and practise putting the theory into real conversations.

To join at this level, you should have studied the language for about 5 years or even have a rusty A level in the French.

What Will I Study?

Students will practise their knowledge of the French language and build their confidence using all tenses. They will use all four-language skills (speaking, writing, reading and listening).

  • Each week will have a different theme taken from a French Document.
  • They will learn complex grammatical structures, idiomatic expressions, and sophisticated vocabulary.
  • They will explore French culture, humour, and references to present yourself when speaking.

To join this level, you will need to:

  • have a good knowledge of present, past, future and conditional tenses
  • be able to hold a general conversation about most topics and have the enthusiasm to engage in conversations
  • have an interest in French culture

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your suitability for this course.
