Join us on this 1.5 day weekend workshop, to make beautiful handmade geode coasters and keyrings in a friendly and relaxed environment. Using resin and various colourful pigments, your tutor will guide you through the process of making your very own unique geode themed coasters and keyrings.
This course if for anyone who has an interest in exploring the medium of resin to create beautiful and unique items with a geode theme.
What Will I Study?
Epoxy resin uses a two-component system that includes resin and a hardener. When mixed together, the two components create a chemical reaction that solidifies the resin to become a solid plastic. You can add various additions, such as colour, glitter, dried flowers, gold leaf and charms to create beautiful items.
In this course, we will be combining colourful powdered pigment and resin to create striking geode coasters and keyrings. Students will be guided through the process, from planning their design to pouring and finishing. You will be able to take away your finished pieces at the end of the course.
Entry Requirements
No experience needed.
