What are A Levels? 

Advanced level qualifications (known as A Levels) are subject-based qualifications that can lead to university, further study, training, or work.

How many A Levels will I have to study? 

Most students following an advanced level programme will take three subjects during the two years they are with us. For motivated, well-qualified students, AS Level courses are available for French, Spanish and Further Mathematics.

Can I combine A Levels with other qualifications? 

Yes. At Peter Symonds, you can choose A Levels alongside vocational courses such as BTECs or Level 3 Diplomas and we have a wide choice of combinations available. As long as your final choice of subjects is the equivalent to three A Levels, you can choose different courses for a programme of study that suits you.
