This one-day Introduction to couples Counselling Course is designed for individuals who are interested in the fundamentals of working with couples and relational dynamics, as well as those considering further study in couple or relationship-focused therapy. Through interactive discussion, case studies, and role-play exercises, we will consider specific skills, and research-based practice in areas such as working with more than one person in the room, what to do when a discussion becomes heated and steps involved when working with couples to promote a better outcome.

Entry Requirements
This course is open to registered mental health practitioners and allied professionals (such as social workers, counsellors, and psychologists) who are considering couple work and wish to expand on their knowledge. It is also suitable for trainee counsellors who have already started working with individuals.
Materials
Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook and pen for personal reflections and notes.
Progression
Upon completion, participants will receive a CPD certificate of attendance.
