Welcome to Drawing & Sketching! Over the next ten weeks, we’ll embark on an artistic adventure where you will discover the joy of filling the pages of your own personalized sketchbook. This course is designed for beginners and enthusiastic creatives alike, offering a comprehensive exploration of sketching techniques, drawing inspiration from renowned artists, and assembling your very own visual scrapbook. As we document our progress, capturing moments of inspiration and artistic growth, our sketchbooks will evolve into treasured records of our creative journey. What Will I Study?

In this 10-week course, learners will build up their confidence in drawing & sketching. Students will be given the opportunity to explore basic technical skills and will be introduced to a variety of mediums, not just pencil. Students will receive both individual and group tuition from a highly experienced, encouraging tutor.

Entry Requirements

No previous experience is required. The emphasis of this course is personal expression and exploration, making it accessible to everyone.

Materials

You will need the following:

  • A sketchbook
  • Pencils, erasers, and pens
  • Collage materials (magazines, newspapers, scissors, glue)
  • Found objects for mixed media exploration
  • Optional: Colored pencils, markers, watercolors

A more confident approach to expressing yourself through drawing and a further development of drawing skills and techniques.
