Combine creativity, style, and practical sewing skills in our Quilted Bags & Jackets 10-week course—designed for those who are confident with the basics of using a sewing machine and ready to take on more ambitious projects.
Over the course of ten weeks, you’ll explore how to create beautiful, quilted fabric and turn it into two stylish and functional pieces: a quilted bag and a quilted jacket. Along the way, you’ll build your skills in quilt construction, fabric layering, sewing techniques, and garment and accessory making, with plenty of scope to customise your pieces to suit your style.
This is a relaxed, friendly course, which is perfect for those looking to meet like-minded people whilst learning a new skill.
You should be comfortable with the basics of using a sewing machine. If you are new to sewing, we recommend that you attend one of our short ‘Getting to Know a Sewing Machine' workshops prior to enrolment.

A full supply list will be provided. Some tools and patterns will be available to use in class. You will need to bring your own fabrics so that you can create items in colours and styles of your own choosing.
