Join us on this 1.5 day course to learn to make beautiful canvas art using resin! Using resin on canvas gives a striking modern, glossy finish. You can experiment with different colours and pouring techniques to create beautiful abstract designs and all participants will leave the course with their own unique artwork.
You will be given an introduction to resin as a medium and learn how to use it safely. Your tutor will show you how to mix and pour your resin, avoiding common mistakes to ensure a flawless finish. You will explore different styles and techniques in resin art and will touch on colour theory, allowing you to select the correct pigments and dyes to create desired hues and effects.
You will experiment with colour combinations and layering techniques, adding texture and depth using various tools and materials. You could add embellishments such as glitter, metallic leaf or beads, depending on your personal project/preference.
By the end of the workshop, you will gave gained the skills and confidence to create your own resin canvas art, exploring techniques and style to express your creativity.

Most materials for this course are included in the course fee, including resin, dyes and pigments. Please bring an apron and wear old clothing.
Disposable respirators/masks, gloves and protective equipment will be provided for the workshop. You may wish to purchase your own respirator, particularly if you are intending to continue working with resin from home or enrolling onto further resin workshops.
You will need to bring your own canvas, no bigger than A3 or equivalent.
You could enrol onto one of out other resin or eco-resin workshops.
