This course is for adults who feel confident speaking Spanish and want to continue practicing it and expanding their knowledge of Spanish culture. To join at this level, you should have an advanced grasp of the language and a good knowledge of all tenses (Indicativo y Subjuntivo) and have studied the language for more than 7 years or equivalent.
You will expand your vocabulary and grammar using all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) on practical topics to enable you to communicate. You will expand existing vocabulary and keep revising the grammar you already know. We will be revising the harder grammatical points as well as some of the most used tenses, enabling you to improve all aspects of your Spanish. We may also read a novel, watch series or films and discuss in class.
Homework is given on a weekly basis. To benefit most from the course, you will be encouraged to read the materials used during lessons.

We offer a Semester 2 that begins immediately after Semester 1 and is an integral part of the course, the exact length of which will be decided in the spring term. You would then be able to progress to the next level.
