This course is a continuation of the Year 4 class of 2024 to 2025 and is also suitable for students with approximately 3 years of French study or equivalent, or perhaps more if this was some years ago. Students will be able to revise and improve their ability to speak and understand French along with consolidating and extending their competence in French grammar.
What Will I Study?
You will expand your vocabulary and understanding of grammar using all 4 language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) with a variety of topics, some practical and others which are cultural or linguistic.
We will be revising the perfect and imperfect tenses, practising the pluperfect tense and learning other compound tenses such as the future perfect.
After an introduction to the future and conditional tenses in 2024/2025, we will practise and consolidate those tenses.

Possible topics include:
How to talk about future plan plans as well as events in the past.
Saying what you would do or would have done in certain circumstances.
