Are you ready to elevate your expertise and make a significant impact in the field of counselling? Take the next step in your professional practice by training in Clinical Supervision. Effective supervision is one of the key pillars of good clinical practice; a place where practitioners can grown and develop both personally and professionally with facilitative support and encouragement. 

This course is for practicing counsellors or psychotherapists who wish to gain the skills and knowledge to become effective and ethical counselling supervisors. The course is led by expert tutor, Diane Hardiman (MA Dip Supervision PGCE MBACP). Diane is a is an experienced Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer with a multidisciplinary background. She has had successful careers in academia, industry (pharmaceutical) and the NHS. She has considerable experience writing and developing training and supervision across multiple disciplines and for a wide range of educational levels. 

There are six modules within this course:

• Building Relationships 
• Ethical Foundations
• Supervision Models
• Group Supervision
• Developing a Philosophy
• Assessment and Next Steps

Prospective students require:

• Counselling or Psychotherapy qualification
• A minimum of 3 years post qualification practice (min 150 hours per year) 
• Either practising as a supervisor or able to undertake a supervisory placement to obtain 24 hours of supervisory practice during the course
• Be a member of professional body (BACP/UKCP/NCS)
• Have current indemnity insurance & be in formal supervision of your supervision practice.

Upon completion, receive a Level 6 Diploma in Counselling Supervision, showcasing your advanced expertise. This qualification will allow practicing counsellors or psychotherapists to become supervisors.
