This course will introduce students to the beauty of water-based media, including watercolours and water-based paints (such as acrylics). You will be introduced to the basic tools, materials and processes for different water-based media as well as experimenting with mixed media techniques. Your tutor will demonstrate techniques and provide step-by-step guidance to help you feel confident using this media.

No previous knowledge or entry qualifications is required.
Your tutor will discuss materials during the first session. You may be required to provide a small selection of paints and mixed media paper.
Students may wish to continue attending this course in order to further improve their skills with water-based media. Alternatively, students may wish to expand their skillset with alternate art classes.
