Specially designed for adults with learning diversities, this immersive 4-week program invites you to craft a suspenseful short story centered around a single, mysterious object….
Sessions are 1.5-hour each where you will master the art of high-stakes plotting, learn to weave mind-bending puzzles and crank up the tension to keep your readers absolute captives on the edge of their seats!
A core feature of the course is that it fosters a dynamic connection between the literary world and the arts and crafts. You will select and design a blank object from a curated collection provided by the tutor - such as smooth river pebbles, rustic wooden discs, mini canvases, or blank masquerade masks - to serve as your story's focal point.
Each week includes a writer’s workshop where you will have the opportunity to develop and edit your work. You will also have the option to share your writing in progress within the safe and supportive circle of your fellow writers.
By the end of the course you will have crafted a polished mystery short story and a beautifully customised physical object that serves as your story's centerpiece.
