What will I study?

Students applying for an Access to HE Diploma in Science can choose three of the following: 

  • Biology 
  • Chemistry (compulsory)
  • Human Physiology 
  • Psychology 
  • Statistical and Mathematical Method

All students must take Chemistry. Please also note that you can choose either Biology or Human Physiology. You cannot take both. 

WHY STUDY ACCESS TO HE AT AHED?

  1. 100% of students who complete this course achieve a pass or above (2021-22)
  2. 95% of students who complete this course progress to university (2021-22)
  3. Our teachers are experts in their subjects and experienced in supporting Access students to achieve their goals.
  4. We offer a diploma pathway to suit most progression routes.
  5. Small class sizes and dedicated tutor support helps us get to know you as an individual; we pride ourselves on counting in ones.
