Information About The Post
Peter Symonds is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester which has been rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ in every respect. We have a large team of committed and talented staff who are at the heart of the success of the College.
Our college is inviting applications for both full-time and part-time (10.5 sessions - 0.403FTE) teaching positions commencing at the end of August 2026.
The Economics team consists of seven teachers delivering the Edexcel Economics course at A level. Many of the over 500 students are very able and the department achieves very good results.
Successful applicants will have a degree in, Economics, Business or a closely allied subject, with an enthusiasm for their subject and the ability to share that with our students. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers. Please indicate in your application whether you are interested in full or part time work.
