Peter Symonds College is currently recruiting for a Seasonal Basketball coach for our men's team. This is a part-time post and runs from September through to the end of Spring term (Easter).

Information About The Post

Hours:            Monday 09:55-10:50 and Thursday 15:40-18:00

Weeks:           Starting September through to end of Spring term (Easter)

Contract:        Fixed term, but there will be a requirement for subsequent years under the same arrangement.

Peter Symonds is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester which has a large team of committed and talented staff who are at the heart of the success of the College.

We are looking for someone to lead our College Basketball team from September. This is a fixed term contract coming to an end at Easter 2025. We are likely to be able to offer further contracts in future years.  Additional hours may be required for matches that fall outside the contracted hours.

The role of Coach is to organise, supervise and guide the team during weekly organised training sessions and matches. This will include driving to and from fixtures. The successful applicant will have a passion for the sport and enjoy coaching young players of all abilities. They will have a Basketball coaching qualification at Level 2 or above and also have, or be willing to acquire, first aid and MiDAS qualfications.
