In this course, you will study a holistic view of Information Technology through learning how to understand the principles of software and hardware, understand Cyber Security and System Information through application of security controls and interpreting cyber threats, manage and analyse a variety of datasets for a given scenario, as well as analyse user needs to create digital solutions using IT development tools.
You will be able to enhance your problem solving, communication and independent study skills through engaging with a range of modules that aim to support your understanding and application of knowledge of Digital Systems and Data analysis techniques which are crucial within the current job market.
Through studying this course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to pursue careers in a range of different IT and Computing sectors, as this course is a natural progression onto many technology based higher education degree courses.
Methods & Patterns of Assessment
This course is assessed through a mixture of external examinations and internal non-examined components, which will require learners to demonstrate both theoretical and practical understanding through engaging with this range of assessment.

Entry Requirements
Standard entry requirements: five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, to include Maths and English Language.
