Information About The Post

Peter Symonds is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester which has been rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ in every respect. We have a large team of committed and talented staff who are at the heart of the success of the College.

The Sport and PE department delivers A level PE and BTECs in Sport to more than 300 students. We have a temporary vacancy to cover for a member of the team who is going on maternity leave, starting January and ending on her return. The post is 23 sessions per week 0.8846 FTE. We welcome applications from either newly qualified or experienced teachers with an enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning, and a strong commitment to supporting student progress. You will have a degree in Sport or an allied subject. It is an exciting opportunity to gain experience working alongside a very successful and enthusiastic team of staff.
