Bespoke Facilities

The 1,205m² music centre will feature pioneering facilities including:

  • A range of specialist chamber ensemble rehearsal rooms
  • Acoustically treated, naturally lit, individual practice and instrumental teaching rooms
  • Soundproofed rehearsal studios fitted with professional grade PA systems for rock and pop bands 
  • Two recording studios equipped to the highest professional industry standard
  • Recital room with cutting-edge sound, audio-visual and production lighting

 

Sustainability

The building will use renewable energy sourced from solar panels and internal heat recovery systems, and will feature several electric vehicle charging points. 

Conservationists have endorsed plans to incorporate the installation of bat boxes to encourage and protect their declining populations.
