During his career, Hugh has successfully led and managed a range of complex IT and Software businesses in the small independent sector as well as for some large, publicly listed, organisations. In 2008 he setup his on consultancy focused on complex selling and helping businesses develop and bring to market new ideas. Hugh is a member of the Mercers Company and has sat on number of committees that focused on the Philanthropic aims of the Company. He was a governor of Richard Collyer’s Sixth Form College for nine years and served as the chair of the audit committee for seven. Hugh is also a trustee of Emerge Advocacy who work with young people who present in A&E in a mental health crisis and we work as their advocates through the process and offer post event counselling in the community for 3 months. Hugh is married with three daughters. He is a keen follower of Rugby Union is also a history buff with a focus on the intelligence war 1938-1945. His other passion/indulgence is wine. Hugh sits on the Audit and Policy & Resources Committees.
