The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Complementary Therapies qualification provides a progression for Level 3 complementary therapists wishing to gain advanced technical skills. Through this qualification you will develop your interpersonal skills while expanding your understanding of advanced massage techniques in all three main disciplines. Learners will gain the essential knowledge provide advanced therapeutic skills within a clinical setting.
Mandatory units:
To be eligible for this qualification, it is a requirement that you are a qualified complementary therapist holding a Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in all three main disciplines of complementary therapies, namely - aromatherapy, reflexology and massage. Anatomy and physiology knowledge at Level 3 or equivalent is also a mandatory requirement.
This qualification is designed to lead to employment in a variety of roles, either self employed, in a complementary therapy clinic, beauty or spa facilities or private practice. This qualification may also lead to employment within a hospital, hospice or other healthcare environments.
