Access to HE: Social Sciences

Social Science is the scientific study of human society and social relationships. It involves the study of society and the manner in which people behave and influence the world around them. It includes a number of academic disciplines, including History, Politics and Economics.

Completing an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Social Science allows learners to go on to study Social Science and other related subjects at university level. For example Psychology, Sociology and Criminology.

What will I study?

Students applying to an Access to HE Diploma in Social Science will study the following compulsory subjects:

Politics & International Relations
Psychology

Professional Healthcare Practice
Statistical and Mathematical Methods
