Information About The Post

We have a very busy Catering Department with several cafes and a shop. At the weekend we provide a brunch and dinner service to students and staff in our two boarding houses and are looking for someone to join the team. Duties will include food handling, counter service, cleaning and clearing tables. No previous experience is required, but you must be reliable, able to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness, with a pleasant manner when dealing with students and colleagues.

You will work Saturdays and/or Sundays in term time, a total of 32 weekends a year from 1 pm to 7 pm. You will be provided with a uniform and a meal when on duty. Other benefits include membership of a pension scheme. We are close to the station and have free staff parking.

Please note that, although we have a closing date, we will interview suitable candidates as soon as applications are received and may appoint before that time.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
