Information About The Post

Our Estates team looks after all our buildings, including the cleaning, and we have several vacancies for staff to join the team as soon as possible and on a temporary basis to the end of the academic year, cleaning spaces such as classrooms, offices and social areas. All the jobs are Monday to Friday and mainly term time only, working either three hours in the morning (5.30 to 8.30 am) or four hours in the evening (4.40 to 8.40 pm). We have a little flexibility as to the exact start and finish times.

Experience working as a Cleaner is not required as training will be given. Most important is that you take a pride in your work, are flexible in the duties you will undertake, are a team player and physically fit to do the work. We would like to hear from you as soon as possible and will start seeing people in January as soon as we receive applications. Please do not wait to the closing date.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.

Due to the number of applications we receive, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applicants personally. However, we would be very pleased to hear from you again in respect of future vacancies. Thank you for your interest in working at Peter Symonds College.
