Information About The Post
The role of the Sporting Team Manager/Coach is to organise, supervise and guide the team during weekly organised training sessions and matches. This will include driving to and from fixtures. The contract is for four sessions a week, starting as soon as possible and until the end of the spring term. Additional hours may be paid on a claims basis as agreed with the Head of Enrichment. We hope to be able to offer further contracts in future years.
The successful applicant will have a passion for the sport and enjoy coaching young players of all abilities. S/he will have a coaching qualification at Level 2 or above and also either have, or be willing to acquire, first aid and MiDAS qualfications.
We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
