Salary in the range £27,296 - £34,469 pa pro rata. Actual salary £23,093 to £29,161 pa

Information About The Post

A key member of the College wellbeing team, the Mental Health & Wellbeing Adviser helps supports students experiencing anxiety and related mental health difficulties who need help to identify coping strategies and build resilience. You will oversee our student Hub, offering drop-in and one to one appointments. You will work closely with fellow professionals both inside and outside the College, although much of your work will be independent so you will need to be confident working alone. You will be a graduate, with a qualification in psychological therapies or a related field. You will be able to demonstrate significant experience of supporting young people with mental health issues and excellent skills in communication and administration. The working weeks are term time only plus Enrolment Week which falls at the end of August. The post is full time but we would be happy to consider two part time candidates job sharing. If you would prefer part time working, please indicate your availability in your application.

This post is a temporary maternity cover which will end on the return of the mother from leave.
