Information About The Post

We seek a skilled administrator to join our Careers team as Work Experience Co-ordinator. You will organise all aspects of student work experience placements, liaising between students, parents and employers. You will maintain the work experience intranet site, ensure that placements are organised in accordance with the regulations and keep records of experience undertaken. Hours of work are 30 per week and 39 weeks a year which is term time plus Enrolment Week. We are flexible as to the start and finish times, although you must be there to cover the busy lunch period at 1 pm every weekday.

You will be highly organised, with a proven ability to work on your own initiative to administer and co-ordinate tasks. You will also have excellent communication skills with the confidence to work with a wide range of people, including employers, students, parents and colleagues. It is a varied and highly rewarding role that will give you the opportunity to assist students in a key part of their learning.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
