Information About The Post

The Adult & Higher Education Division (AHED) responds to the diverse needs of the wider adult community. Our programme for adults ranges from the development of essential, basic skills, courses for fun and leisure, through to foundation and full honours degrees. AHED aims to provide a second chance for many and the opportunity to advance both in the workplace, socially and academically.

We offer a range of counselling courses at our Adult and Higher Education site, designed to enable the individual to enjoy the opportunity to learn about communication and counselling skills, enhance existing skills, qualify as a counsellor, develop both personally and professionally and obtain a recognised qualification.

Counselling Course Tutors - To start in September 2021

We have vacancies for the following staff to join us.

BA (Hons) Humanistic & Integrative Counselling (Top Up) Level 6

The theory for this course is run over nine weekends.  We require tutor or tutors(s) to cover the following modules - Enhancing Practice Couples, Enhancing Practice Brief Therapies and Enhancing Practice Existential Dilemmas. 



We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
