Information About The Post
We seek a new full time member of staff to join the team to teach IT. The Computer Science and IT teams work closely together, collaborating and sharing resources in their work with more than 300 students studying BTEC IT Level 3, OCR Level 2 Technical in IT and A level Computer Science.
You will have a good honours degree in Computer Science, IT or a related subject, proficient in: HTML/CSS and scripting languages; programming languages; implementation of Access/SQL; knowledge of cyber security and incident management. You will either have experience in teaching at A level or be able to demonstrate the enthusiasm and potential to do this, hence this role is open to experienced, newly qualified or unqualified teachers who are keen to train.
We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
