Information About The Post

Psychology is a thriving department, with over 900 students studying the subject at A level, following the AQA specification. We have fourteen teaching staff in the team and students are taught by two teachers, each covering different topics. Achievement levels are high, with a significant number of students progressing to read Psychology at HE every year.

We seek someone to work full time, ideally starting in September 2021. The successful applicant will have a degree in Psychology or a closely allied subject, with an enthusiasm for their subject and the ability to share that with our students. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
