Learning Support Assistants
We have two vacancies for LSAs to join our busy Study Support team, full time and term time.
The details for this post are as follows:
Information About The Post
Our study support staff provide support to students with special requirements in the College, both in class and in the Study Support department. Some experience working with students aged 16-19, particularly those with specific learning difficulties and disabilities, is desirable but not essential. Additionally, you must be physically fit to undertake manual handling and to provide personal care to students with disabilities if required. Most important is empathy with young people and a genuine desire to help them reach their potential.
LSAs work 39 weeks a year which is term time plus Enrolment Week, which is the last week of August. We have two vacancies for LSAs to join our team at the end of August and fixed term for one academic year at which point contracts will be reviewed.
We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
