Information About The Post

Our busy Student Services Department provides a resource for students on a day to day basis. Some of these services are routine, such as the allocation of lockers, while others are more complex as the team is often the first point of contact for students with a wide range of queries. We are looking for someone to join the team to organise and promote a wide range of health promotion events and activities for our students, working closely with external agencies. Hours of work are 24 per week and term time plus Enrolment Week, 3 full days per week 8.15am – 4.45pm, ideally on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

You will have empathy with the 16 – 19 age group, excellent communication and listening skills. You will have an excellent awareness of the sorts of health and wellbeing issues affecting young people today. You will be able to work under pressure in what can be a lively and noisy common room environment, having good IT and administrative skills. Experience in working with this age group is an advantage but is not essential.

No Agencies Please

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny.
