To start in September 2023 (hand-over days in summer term TBC)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to lead the Higher Education counselling provision at Peter Symonds College, Adult and Higher Education Division (AHED). With a background in transactional analysis, this opportunity is perfect for those who want to remain in practice but also manage a hugely successful and growing provision.

We offer a range of counselling courses at our Adult and Higher Education site, designed to enable the individual to enjoy the opportunity to learn about communication and counselling skills, enhance existing skills, qualify as a counsellor, develop both personally and professionally and obtain a recognised qualification.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the students in our care. To that end, a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced disclosure will be required in the event of an individual being offered a position within our College. Our staff undertake regular safeguarding training and are subject to ongoing safeguarding scrutiny. Please note, it is an offence to apply for this position if you are barred from working with children.
