Peter Symonds College is situated in the heart of Winchester. It is five minutes walk from the rail station and 20 minutes walk from the bus station. Many buses arrive either in college or at the rail station for the convenience of students.

Please note there is no onsite car parking for students. Students with disabilities or mobility issues may apply for a permit to park onsite. Application forms are available from Student Services and applications must be supported by a consultant’s letter.

Changes have been made to the morning times of the 692 bus between Lowford and Bishops Waltham. Please see the Parents Portal or Stagecoach website for details. More time has been allowed for the journey.

Educational Rail Pass

Students will be informed and parents/carers emailed to let them know when the Summer term Educational Rail Pass is available for purchase. Please note that it is not usually beneficial financially for U6 students to buy the pass for their last term at college, due to exam leave.

College does not operate "school buses" of its own. Instead students are expected to use publicly operated bus services. Several companies currently serve routes to college, many of which arrive on site in line with lesson times.

The Peter Symonds College Unirider can be purchased online directly from Stagecoach or from Winchester Bus Station. Follow the links below for further information.
