Information About The Job

We are looking to appoint an Art Technician with specific responsibility for Photography. This is a permanent part time post, largely term time, to be worked over two days a week. The days are likely to be Wednesday and Friday, although there may be some flexibility in this regard.

Our team of Technicians help to maintain servicing of studio facilities and enforcing procedures including health and safety. You will maintain and book out equipment, order supplies, prepare materials and assist with displays. You will be educated to A level or equivalent in subjects which include Art or a related subject and proficient in the use of IT. You will demonstrate empathy with young people and be able to work effectively both unsupervised and as part of a team. As this post has a specific responsibility for supporting the teaching of photography, you will also need expertise in digital and darkroom techniques.
